Cynthia's Journey

Welcome to my Firm!!
I launched my law firm many moons ago to keep my hat in the legal ring as I pursued a career in entertainment law.
My early focus was to help independent filmmakers realize their dreams and navigate their way through the entertainment industry.
My first foray out of New York Law School was a 4 year apprenticeship in the Business and Legal Affairs department at New Line Cinema, home of the Hobbits.
I found myself an entrepreneur at heart and co-founded the Spiritual Cinema Circle, a DVD club for spiritual films. My job was to create the solid foundation upon which the business could thrive and later be sold, creating my niche in spiritual entertainment.
My practice has evolved into supporting clients in their endeavors across multiple business platforms and professions as a confidant, counselor and business muse.
Whether my clients need legal advice, strong business instincts or a whisper of courage, I dive in with my entrepreneurs, authors, producers, public relations firms, spiritual practitioners, mom business owners, child obesity doctors and distributors and give them the support and discretion they need to empower them in their businesses.
My client roster includes people and businesses I personally love. (Check them out on the Client tab.
In my spare time, I work on my passion projects - writing, connecting and photography.
In 2009, I launched a spiritual parenting brand, Mommas Pearls. (nominated for a 2010 Blog Luxe award) and cultivated a community for my blog, newsletter, radio show, coaching, v-logs, workshop and tele-call series.
I also co-founded MomTime Events, to promote, market and support local mom business owners through networking and other events.
I love the written word and have over 200 published articles through various outlets including, the Port Washington Patch, Brooke Burke's Modern Mom,Katja Presnal's Skimbaco and Nitika Chopra's Your Bella Life.
Ironically, none of them are "legal" articles.
I do throw down some legalese on the Spirit Junkie Law posse on Her Future, Gabrielle Bernstein's social media platform for women (sorry boys).
I received my Juris Doctor from New York Law School and am admitted to the New York State Bar.
I'm always wishing you well on your endeavors and if there's anything else you're curious about or believe we may work well together, go ahead and contact me.
